Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a great guest experience. The MA handles both front desk duties and clinical tasks, supporting the full patient care spectrum.

Qualifications

• Formal MA program graduation required.
• Certification or registration as MA preferred/required per state.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Review patient information and collect updated health data for provider.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, wound care, assist procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications/immunizations as ordered by Provider.
• Collaborate with care team to develop and address gaps in care.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, record requests, and referrals.
