Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in Maryland. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care, perform vitals, administer injections, and handle front-desk duties as part of a comprehensive care team.

The role emphasizes patient experience, accurate charting, and collaboration with labs and specialists. Candidates should have MA program graduation and CPR/BLS, with state certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience preferred in primary care.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, chart requests, referrals, and patient communication.
• Record data in medical records and process lab results as directed.
