Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, performing clinical duties and front-desk responsibilities as part of the care continuum.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Review patient information and update health data for providers.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Maintain patient care coordination and documentation with the care team.
