Job summary

Marathon Health LLC is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, acting as both Medical Receptionist and MA.

Responsibilities include vitals, blood draws, injections, lab coordination, and front-desk tasks while maintaining accurate records and contributing to patient engagement and care planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of MA experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred and/or required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked and clean.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Partner with care team to develop patient care plans and address gaps.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document in medical records and communicate test results to patients.
