Marathon Health is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver outstanding patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience at our clinics.

The role blends front-desk duties with clinical support to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care. Responsibilities include taking vitals, assisting with procedures, coordinating with labs, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting patient engagement

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; phlebotomy experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Escorts patients to rooms and ensures exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Reviews prior medical information and updates health data for the provider.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, assist with procedures.
• Work with contracted labs for additional tests.
• Prepares and administers medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Partner with care team to develop patient care plans and address gaps.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, chart requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Record data in medical records per guidelines.
• Process test results and inform patients via e-message, mail, or phone.
• Participate in outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.

Conoscenze

Medical assistant experience

CPR/BLS certified

Phlebotomy experience

Excellent patient interaction
