Shift Requirements

This position requires at a minimum two 8‑hour shifts every 6 weeks. The role may involve part‑time hours when needed and available. Applicants must be able to train for a minimum of part‑time hours for the initial 4–8 weeks.

As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you will be a member of the clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You are a vital part of the team, making a real difference in the lives of patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting (Preferred)
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 120 days
• Required within 120 days:
  • AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
  • NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)
  • NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
  • NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
