Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Site - Main St Internal Med in Fremont, MI. The role is full-time, 36 hours weekly, with day shifts (6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) and variable days from Monday to Friday.

A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for external applicants or CHW MA Apprentice Students. Responsibilities include supporting the clinical team to deliver quality care and ensuring efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a hands-on competency-based medical assistant training program required.
• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting preferred.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
• One of CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or NRCMA certification required within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of the clinical support team to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient flow and care coordination.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
