Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and an excellent guest experience, blending clinical duties with front-desk responsibilities.

The role supports the full patient journey—from check-in and vitals to tests, injections, and vaccination administration—within our value-based care model.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred; required where state rules apply.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures; coordinate with labs for tests.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical records requests, referrals, and check-in/check-out.
• Record data in the medical record according to guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate results to patients as directed.
