Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA supports a primary care physician, delivers patient-centered care, and performs both clinical and front-desk duties to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, drawing blood, administering injections, and assisting with procedures while coordinating with the labs and managing patient flow at the front desk.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program; MA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and guide patients, ensure rooms are ready and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections per physician order.
• Assist with procedures and coordinate with labs for tests.
• Handle front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
