Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team, working closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and guest experience. This role combines medical assistant duties with front-desk responsibilities to support the full patient journey.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of MA experience, completion of an approved MA program, CPR/BLS certification, and may have phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Formal MA program completion is required or preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per written order.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Document data in medical records following guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate timely to patients.
• Support outreach to patients to drive engagement and care.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
