Job summary

Endeavor Health in Rolling Meadows, IL seeks a Medical Assistant for our Primary Care team. Full-time, 40 hours per week, with hours M/W/F 7am–5pm, Tue/Thu 7am–7pm and Saturdays on rotation; occasional travel to other locations and flexible hours.

Under supervision, you will prepare patients, collect specimens, perform routine tests including phlebotomy, assist with injections, and handle clerical clinic tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified or registered medical assistants (CMA/RMA/CCMA) required or must have active registration.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform select clinical functions to support patient care.
• Prepare patients for examination, obtain specimens, run routine lab tests and record results.
• Assist with injections and administer medications as directed; perform clerical clinic duties.

Prepare patients for physical examination, obtain specimens, conduct select routine laboratory tests and records results, routine diagnostic tests and may perform phlebotomy. Under general supervision of a physician, administer selected medications/injections. Also performs clerical duties related to clinic operations.
