Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Highland Park, IL location. The role involves greeting patients, documenting vital signs, and providing front office support, with responsibilities including phlebotomy and potential injections.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and CPR certification is mandatory. Prior MA training is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training is provided.

• CPR certification through the American Heart Association is required; MA certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Medical Assistant

• Location: Highland Park, IL

• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 5pm with rotating weekends

• Required Travel: Travel to other sites based upon department needs

What you will do:

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required

What you will need:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required
• Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
• Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: N/A
