Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Family Practice in Naperville. You will prepare patients for exams, collect specimens, perform routine labs, and assist with medications under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate holds CMA/RMA/CCMA certification, CPR/BLS, and has 6 months of clinical experience (1 year preferred). Bilingual Spanish is a plus; travel is occasional if required. Join a busy clinic with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CMA/RMA/CCMA certification or registration with AAMA/ARMA/NHA or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of clinical experience; 1 year preferred if not certified.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver's license if off-site duties.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for physical examination and obtain specimens.
• Conduct routine laboratory tests and record results; may perform phlebotomy.
• Administer selected medications/injections under physician supervision.
• Perform clerical duties related to clinic operations.
• Support a busy Primary Care office with multiple providers.

Hourly Pay Range:$20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Sign on bonus: $1000Position: Medical Assistant - Family PracticeLocation: 796 Royal St George Dr, NapervilleFull Time 40 hours per weekHours: M-F 6:30a-6:15p, Rotating Sat 7:45a-12:15p, VariableRequired Travel: OccasionallyWhat you will do:Under the direction of the Supervisor, performs select clinical functions to enhance delivery of patient care. Prepare patients for physical examination, obtain specimens, conduct select routine laboratory tests and records results, routine diagnostic tests and may perform phlebotomy. Under general supervision of a physician, administer selected medications/injections. Also performs clerical duties related to clinic operations. MA supports a very busy Primary Care office with 4 providers and additional clinical staff.What you will need:High school diploma or GED - REQUIREDCertified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA , RMA or CCMA) are required to provide current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health Career Association (NHA) or any other certifying agency and should have at least 6 months of clinical experience - PREFERRED:Candidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience.Current CPR BLS Certification issued by American Heart Association. - REQUIREDA valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location.
