Endeavor Health in Buffalo Grove, IL is hiring a Medical Assistant (MA) for our Primary Care team. The role supports patient intake, vitals, phlebotomy, and front-office duties in a busy clinic environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and at least one year of experience in a medical office. Training is provided; some travel to other sites may be required.

• Certification: CPR through the American Heart Association is required; AMT or AAMA preferred but not required.
• Experience: One year of work experience required; prior medical office experience preferred; on-the-job training available.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Medical Assistant (MA) - Primary Care

Position Highlights:

• Position: Medical Assistant
• Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am – 6pm with rotating weekends
• Required Travel: Travel to other sites based on department needs

What you will do:

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required

What you will need:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required
• Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
• Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: N/A
