Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• BLS certification required.

• Ability to perform venipuncture and basic lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control procedures before patient testing.
• Conduct laboratory blood work and prepare slides for evaluation.
• Obtain vital signs and document in EMR as requested by physician.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as bone marrows and paracentesis.
• Schedule outside testing and referrals as directed by physicians.
• Maintain logs and equipment records per regulatory agencies.
