Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a medical assistant in clinic or physician’s office with venipuncture ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with medical procedures and phlebotomy.
• Perform laboratory blood work and quality control procedures.
• Prepare specimens and slide preparation for evaluation.
• Document lab results and patient data in EMR.
• Coordinate outside testing and referrals as needed.
• Maintain inventory and ensure regulatory compliance.
