Job summary

Oncology Voice Network LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in procedures at the RKV Medical Center. You will perform phlebotomy, lab testing, quality control, instrument maintenance, and data entry in the EMR system.

The role requires high school education, BLS, a valid driver's license, and at least one year of clinic experience with venipuncture. Travel to other clinics is required, with occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

High School or GED required.
BLS certification required.
Valid Driver's License and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations.
One-year experience as a medical assistant in clinic or physician's office with venipuncture ability.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians with medical procedures and phlebotomy.
Perform laboratory blood work and quality control.
Prepare blood or bone marrow slides and handle specimen processing.
Document test results and charges in EMR; maintain logs and checklists.
Schedule outside testing and referrals; manage inventory and orders.
Obtain vital signs and screen patients as requested; ensure timely room preparation.
Maintain safety, regulatory compliance, and HIPAA/privacy standards.
