Job summary

American Oncology Network seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians in office settings. You will perform phlebotomy, run lab tests, and ensure quality control while maintaining accurate records in EMR.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures (bone marrows, aspirates), preparing slides, scheduling outside tests, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Travel to multiple clinic locations may occur.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; BLS certification.
• One year experience as a medical assistant in clinic or physician's office; venipuncture.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with medical procedures in office.
• Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture.
• Conduct laboratory testing and quality control.
• Prepare slides and process specimens.
• Maintain logs, equipment records and inventory.
