Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our care teams delivering high-touch primary care to adults on Medicare in community settings. You will room patients, collect vitals, assist with procedures, and coordinate with RNs and providers to ensure efficient, patient-centered visits.

The role requires CPR certification and MA certification, with experience with geriatric patients and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• CPR Certification required.
• Medical Assistant certification or registration.
• 2+ years of experience working with geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients promptly to maintain efficient flow.
• Greet patients and prepare them for provider visits.
• Take vital signs and review medications.
• Perform waived laboratory testing as needed.
• Provide telephonic support to patients under RN or provider direction.
• Stock exam rooms and order supplies.
• Assist with care team meetings and patient care coordination.
