Oak Street Health is hiring a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to support high-quality primary care in our community centers. You will room patients, collect vitals, perform waived lab tests, and assist care teams under RN or provider guidance.

Fluency with EHRs and strong communication are essential, with emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered service. Qualifications include CPR, Medical Assistant certification/registration, and 2+ years’ experience with geriatric patients; phlebotomy

Qualificações

• CPR certification is required.
• Medical Assistant certification or registration is required.
• 3–5 years in a Medical Assistant role preferred.
• EMR experience is required.
• 2+ years of experience with geriatric patients preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients and keep the provider on schedule.
• Deliver exceptional patient experience and prepare patients for visits.
• Record vital signs and review medications.
• Perform routine patient screenings per protocol.
• Order supplies and stock exam rooms.
• Perform waived laboratory tests and schedule diagnostic testing.
• Assist with telephonic patient support under RN/provider guidance.
• Support home-based care for high-risk members when needed.
