Summit Health Management is seeking a per diem Medical Assistant (MA) to support physicians, PAs and NPs with clinical and clerical tasks. You will prepare exam rooms, escort patients, document in the EHR, collect vital signs, and assist with scheduling and care coordination across satellite sites as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, completion of an accredited MA or phlebotomy program, BLS, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program.
• 0-1 year related work experience is required.
• 2-4 years related work experience is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, required.
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner, required.
• Basic proficiency in computer use, required.

Responsabilités

• Prepares the examination room.
• Escorts patient into the room.
• Cleans examination room when exam is complete.
• Maintains efficient patient flow.
• Ensures proper preparation for patient visit.
• Documents appropriately in EHR.
• Reviews and updates medication list and allergies in EHR.
• Assists with scheduling and referrals in PMS and EHR.
