Summit Health Management is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support physicians, PAs or NPs with clerical duties, patient flow and care procedures. The role emphasizes accurate vitals collection, room preparation and proper documentation in the EHR.

Responsibilities include scheduling, chart updates, and ensuring clean examination rooms, while maintaining appropriate patient communication and care within scope. Travel to satellite offices may be required based on scheduling needs.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program required.
• 0-1 year related work experience required, 2-4 years preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire required.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares examination room and escorts patient.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and accurate documentation.
• Documents vitals and patient information in EHR.
• Reviews and updates medication list and allergies in EHR.
• Provides referrals and coordinates with PMS/EHR as needed.
• Travels to satellite offices as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
