Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant to support physicians in an urgent and primary care setting in Reno, NV. You will assist with patient care, scheduling, and chart management while delivering quality service to patients.

Requirements include six months of relevant experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, a recognized Medical Assistant program and/or EMT license, English fluency, and BLS within 30 days of hire; Nevada lab

Qualifications

• Six months experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care physician practice setting and/or direct patient care preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion in an accredited Medical Assistant Training program and/or EMT license preferred.
• Fluency in English.
• Must have BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire.
• Office Laboratory Assistant License from the State of Nevada is required within 90 days of hire outside of the Cardiology Practices.
