Saint Mary's Health Network is hiring a Medical Assistant to support urgent care and primary care clinics. The role involves assisting physicians, managing scheduling, and helping patients navigate services with a positive, professional demeanor.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, completion of a Medical Assistant program (or EMT), BLS within 30 days, and Nevada licensure if performing lab tasks. Full-time days, onsite in Reno, NV.

Competenze

• Minimum six months experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care physician practice setting and/or direct patient care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion in an accredited Medical Assistant Training program and/or EMT license preferred.
• Fluency in English.
• Must have BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire.
• Office Laboratory Assistant License from the State of Nevada is required within 90 days of hire outside of the Cardiology Practices.

Mansioni

• Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient charts.
• Provide information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from clinic services.
• Convey a positive image of the organization.
