Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is hiring a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant for outpatient services. The role supports the physician practice with front desk operations, patient check-in/out, scheduling, registrations, and basic vitals. Training is provided; phlebotomy/injections may be required.

Full-time or part-time positions with rotating hours 8:30am–5pm, travel to other sites as needed; benefits and competitive hourly pay offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; medical assistant program preferred but not required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones.
• Schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments.
• Complete patient registration.
• Provide front desk/administrative support to the physician practice.
• Check in and check out patients.
• Verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for visit.
• Perform basic vitals (BP, height, weight).
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
