Job summary

ADVENT is hiring a Medical Assistant/Patient Services Representative to support Grove City and Easton clinics, with training in Dublin as needed. You will welcome patients, document vitals in the EMR, schedule appointments, and assist clinicians throughout the patient journey.

The role combines hands-on care with strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have certification or at least one year in healthcare, and be comfortable with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Certification as Medical Assistant preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in medical/healthcare.
• Excellent communication and time management.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on care and support a team-oriented clinic.
• Room patients and document medical history and vitals in EMR.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Manage scheduling and patient flow for a smooth clinic.
• Open/close the clinic and handle payments and daily operations.
• Order medical supplies as needed and onboard new staff.

Now Hiring: Medical Assistant / Patient Services Representative

Locations: Grove City and Easton, OH (training and occasional coverage at our Dublin clinic)

As a Medical Assistant/Patient Services Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients feel supported and cared for from their very first visit through every step of their journey.

What You’ll Do as a Medical Assistant/Patient Services Representative:

• Play a key role in delivering exceptional hands-on care while supporting a positive, team-oriented clinic environment
• Ensure a smooth and seamless patient experience throughout the day
• Collaborate closely with clinical staff to support quality care
• Room patients and accurately document medical history and vitals in the EMR
• Assist in procedures with Physicians
• Safety and sanitation of rooms and equipment
• Welcome patients warmly and assist with scheduling needs
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow for a smooth clinic experience
• Answer incoming calls and provide overflow support to the call center as needed
• Open and close the clinic following established protocols
• Ensure proper documentation, process payments, and support daily clinic operations
• Order medical supplies and pharmaceuticals as needed
• Onboard and train new staff
• Provide support to our market clinics as needed

What You Bring:

• Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred
• Medical Assistant certification preferred or minimum of 1 year experience
• Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• Experience working with performance-based goals or metrics
• A customer-first mindset and excellent communication skills
• Tech-savvy with experience in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
• Valid driver license
