Job summary

Conceptions Fertility is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Navigator to join our team in Provo, UT. This full-time role runs Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with occasional weekends or holidays.

You will greet patients, collect histories, take vitals, assist during fertility procedures, and support the care team. We value compassionate, detail-oriented players who can multitask, perform phlebotomy, and help educate patients about treatments.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of medical assistant experience required.
• Certification is preferred.
• Flexibility to work full-time; occasional weekend mornings.
• Spanish speaking is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, obtain medical histories, and record vital signs.
• Assist providers during fertility procedures (IUI, egg retrievals, embryo transfers).
• Perform routine phlebotomy and properly label specimens.
• Prepare patients for scans and assist with ultrasounds.
• Explain fertility treatments, medications, and procedures to patients.
• Monitor and restock medical supplies and medications.
• Contact patients to schedule appointments, relay results, and provide follow-up instructions.
• Scribe for providers during visits.
• Assist with scheduling, phones, and patient inquiries.
• Maintain privacy regulations (HIPAA) and clinic protocols.
• Ensure clinic and exam room sanitation and restock supplies.
• Adhere to other duties as assigned by clinical/office management.

This position is integral to our practice and requires working closely with patients, physicians, APPs and other support staff.Previous medical assisting experience required (certification is preferred) and you must be able to pass a background check. Hours may vary but are typically between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
