Job summary

Duly Health and Care in New Lenox, IL is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support clinicians with registrations, scheduling, vital signs, and health history collection. You will assist during examinations, minor procedures, and immunizations, while maintaining clean, welcoming exam rooms and delivering excellent patient service.

Experience as an MA or CMA is preferred, with active certification and CPR.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher health sciences training.
• Active Medical Assistant certification (AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA) preferred.
• CPR certification or ability to become certified upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, recording vital signs and collecting health history.
• Provide support to physicians during examinations and minor procedures, dressing changes and first aid.
• Assist with immunizations or injections as needed and handle prescription requests.
• Coordinate provider orders, chart updates and filing; conduct onsite basic lab tests (EKG, PFT, glucose, urine tests).
• Maintain clean, welcoming exam rooms and deliver excellent customer service.
