Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Schaumburg is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time clinic role. You will greet patients, assist with registrations and scheduling, and support physicians during examinations and minor procedures.

You may perform immunizations, collect health data, and conduct onsite lab tests such as EKG and blood glucose. A valid MA certification is preferred, with additional phlebotomy or CPR credentials beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or health sciences courses required.
• Active MA certification through recognized bodies (AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA) preferred or required by specialties.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history.
• Support physicians during examinations, minor procedures, and dressing changes.
• Assist with immunizations or injections where applicable.
• Handle prescriptions requests, pharmacy callbacks, and chart updates.
• Conduct onsite labs: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, urine pregnancy tests.
