Duly Health and Care in Winfield, IL is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians and care teams across examinations, lab work, and patient registrations. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, on-site procedures, and collaboration with clinicians.

Prospective candidates should have a Medical Assistant program or health sciences coursework, a high school diploma, CPR certification, and MA certifications or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or health sciences coursework.
• Active MA certification (AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA) preferred for internal specialties.
• CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire.
• Phlebotomy certification within 90 days may be required.
• Prior MA/CMA/CNA/EMT or 2 years of patient-care office experience preferred.
• Experience using an EMR system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, vital signs, and health history.
• Support physicians during examinations, minor surgeries, dressing changes, and first aid.
• Assist with immunizations or injections where appropriate.
• Process prescriptions, handle pharmacy callbacks, and update charting.
• Perform onsite lab tests including EKG, PFT, glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, welcoming examination rooms and deliver excellent patient service.
• Occasional travel to assist other local clinics may be required.
