Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or health sciences coursework.
• Active MA certification (AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA) preferred.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain on hire.
• Phlebotomy certification within 90 days may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, assist with registration and scheduling.
• Measure vitals and collect health history.
• Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
• Process prescription requests and manage charting in EMR.
• Support with in-clinic lab testing (EKG, glucose, urine tests).
• Maintain clean, welcoming exam rooms and provide patient service.
