Job summary

Duly Health and Care in New Lenox, IL, is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for a part-time, 24-hour/week role. You will greet patients, assist with registration and vital signs, and support clinicians during exams and minor office procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or related health-sciences coursework.
• CPR certification or willingness to become certified on hire.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire.
• Prior MA/CMA/CNA/EMT or 2 years in a medical office supporting patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, vitals, and health history.
• Support physicians during examinations, minor procedures, and dressings.
• Assist with immunizations or injections where applicable.
• Process prescription requests and respond to pharmacy callbacks.
• Update charting and manage filing; support lab testing (EKG, PFT, glucose, urine pregnancy).
• Maintain clean and welcoming examination rooms and deliver excellent patient service.
