Job summary

ConvenientMD is hiring a Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care, assist providers, and ensure efficient clinic operations. You will engage with patients, triage, take vital signs, assist with phlebotomy, and support medication administration under supervision.

You will collaborate with a clinical team, maintain EHRs, and help with discharge planning. A MA certification and BLS are required, along with strong communication and patient-centred service.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with at least 1 year of experience or 2 years as MA.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• Proactive, clear communicator with colleagues and patients.
• Trustworthy with confidential information per HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients in a welcoming, professional manner and provide information on conditions, treatments, and medications.
• Support clinical operations and patient care, including triage and basic procedures.
• Assist with medication administration where permitted by state rules.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and providers on discharge planning and patient care details.
