Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification with 1 year of experience or 2 years as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross required; CPR/ACLS online not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients, provide information about medications and treatment options.
• Take vital signs, obtain medical histories, perform phlebotomy, and assist with procedures.
• Document patient information in EHRs in compliance with HIPAA.
