Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care and support healthcare providers in a busy clinic.

You will take vital signs, document patient information, and assist with procedures while ensuring accurate medication information and privacy compliance. Training on our EMR system and MS Office will be provided, with opportunities to grow in a collaborative urgent-care setting.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification with at least 1 year of experience or 2 years of MA experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required; CPR/ACLS online not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients, explain medications and care plans, and provide preventive guidance.
• Take vital signs, obtain histories, perform phlebotomy, and assist with minor procedures.
• Document patient information accurately in EHRs and maintain privacy per HIPAA.
• Administer medications under supervision per state regulations (NH & ME only).
• Collaborate with clinical team to ensure coordinated patient care and discharge planning.
