Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant to join our Swedish Hospital team in Chicago. The role supports front desk operations, patient registration, appointment scheduling, and basic clinical vitals under physician supervision.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week), with daytime hours, travel to other locations as needed, and a pay range of $19.89 to $28.84 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (AMT, AAMA, ARMA, CCMA, CMA, MAC, AMCA) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones
• Schedule appointments
• Collect co-payments
• Complete patient registration
• Provide front office support as needed
• Verify insurances
• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required
