Oak Street Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to gather medical information for providers, facilitate patient care, and support the care team. The MA will assist in screenings, vaccinations, and routine diagnostics while maintaining accurate EMR documentation.

Ideal candidates have MA certification, 2 years of MA experience, CPR/BLS, EMR proficiency, and US work authorization. Travel not required; on-site role with standard full-time hours.

Qualifications

• State or national MA certification or graduation from an accredited MA program.
• 2 years experience as a medical assistant.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• EMR experience.
• US work authorization.

Responsabilités

• Ensure efficient patient flow and vitals.
• Inventory and stock exam rooms.
• Respond to patient requests for telephonic support.
• Administer vaccinations and point-of-care tests as allowed by state.
• Import documents into EMR and scan records.
• Participate in care team meetings.
• Process orders for durable medical equipment.
• Request medical records from external providers.
