Job summary

This full-time role operates days starting at 7:30am, reporting to Practice Manager and physicians, with emphasis on patient assessment, documentation, and efficient clinic workflow.

The position requires completing nursing assessments, medication reviews, patient education, specimen handling, and adherence to safety and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant program certificate preferred.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Experience as a medical assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and record vital signs and data.
• Review and document patient medications at visits.
• Prepare patients for exams with explanations and reassurance.
• Provide patient education based on diagnosis and care needs.
• Order and stock clinical supplies; manage inventory.
• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant patient areas and equipment.
• Perform and log laboratory tests as requested by the physician.
