Banner Health's BIMC Int Med-Clinic in San Tan Valley, AZ is hiring a Medical Assistant for a day shift. You will support clinicians, handle patient prep, and assist with exams in a fast-paced, patient-focused clinic environment.

The role requires MA certification, MA training, strong computer skills, and excellent communication. On-site clinic with comprehensive onboarding and a $2,000 hire-on bonus for experienced MAs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program.
• Active MA certification; BLS certification required.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use medical software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to manage changing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Prepares patient for exam and treatment by taking vital signs and recording measurements.
• Assists with exams and minor procedures; perform phlebotomy, ear irrigation and EKGs; acts as chaperone.
• Coordinates care: pre-certifications, referrals, scheduling and test result communication.
• Provides clerical support; maintains medical records and billing information.
• Maintains clean environment; disinfects equipment and follows OSHA guidelines.
• Orders supplies and manages medication recalls and related tasks.
• Develops effective communication with patients and staff; supports team.
• Completes onboarding/orientation activities and simulation training as needed.
