Job summary

HonorHealth is hiring a Medical Assistant for the Tatum Primary Care Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. This in-person, full-time position supports front and back office operations, escorts patients, and maintains exam rooms under a provider's direction.

You will collect vital signs, document history, and assist with exams and procedures, including injections and basic testing. A MA training program and BLS are required, with a Fingerprint Clearance Card and state requirements also expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an MA training program is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card is required or must be obtained within 7 working days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide front and back office support, escort patients to exam rooms, and maintain clean, stocked rooms.
• Schedule patients and manage phone messages and referrals.
• Obtain vital signs and assist physicians during exams and procedures.
• Travel to off-site locations for diagnostic testing and support as needed.
