Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Practice Operations team. Responsibilities include pre-visit planning, patient preparation, and coordination of care with providers and the Care Team.

The role requires a high school degree or equivalent, and either a year of clinical experience or completion of a Medical Assistant program, with CPR/BLS certification (or within 60 days of hire). An on-site position with the practice location.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• One year of clinical experience or graduation from a Medical Assistant program required.
• Two years of experience in similar healthcare setting preferred; BLS/CPR required or within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review and update patient records prior to appointment.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist with procedures.
• Discharge care coordination and communication with Care Team.
