Qualifikationen

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of clinical experience or graduation from a Medical Assistant program is required.
• Two years of experience in a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Conducts pre-visit planning by reviewing patient records and updating results.
• Pre-charting value-based pieces up to five days before appointment.
• Prepare patients for examination and escort to exam room, assess vitals and history.
• Maintain exam rooms and supplies, clean instruments, and assist with injections/immunizations as allowed.
• Coordinate with Care Team about hospital discharges, ED visits, labs, and specialist referrals.
• Disposal of Bio-Hazardous waste and waste per protocol; vaccine temperature logs.
