Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant for Practice Operations to support patient care across our practice settings.

The role includes preparing patients for examinations, updating medical records, assisting providers, and coordinating with the care team to ensure smooth patient flow. Requirements include a High School degree, 1 year of clinical experience or MA program completion, BLS/CPR certification (within 60 days if not current), and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience or completion of Medical Assistant program
• BLS/CPR certification current or within 60 days of hire
• Customer service experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and complete pre-visit planning.
• Prepare patients for examinations and escort to exam rooms.
• Update medical history, medications, allergies, and reason for visit in the chart.
• Assist providers and care team; communicate patient needs and discharge instructions.
• Maintain clinical supplies and keep exam rooms clean and organized.
