Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred, but not required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant certification (AMT or AAMA) preferred, but not required
• One year of work experience required; previous medical office experience preferred. On the job training provided for those without prior MA training.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight.
