Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a clinical practice as a Medical Assistant.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or military clinical training per DD214.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to MA scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming tasks: vitals, history, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures.
• Performs lab duties incl. venipuncture and POCT per order.
• Administers medications and vaccines safely.
• Handles refills, authorizations, scheduling, and referrals.
• Maintains clean, stocked work environment; trains teammates as needed.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care and patient communication.
