Responsibilities

• Adhere to Medical Assistant scope of practice and site policies.
• Perform rooming tasks: vitals, med history, allergies, screenings.
• Assist provider with procedures and lab tasks including venipuncture.
• Handle specimen collection, labeling, packing, and POCT per orders.
• Administer medications and vaccines following rights of administration.
• Perform duties such as refills, authorizations, scheduling, and referrals.
• Maintain communication, teamwork, and appropriate escalation.
• Keep workspace clean; ensure supplies and equipment are stocked.
• Participate in training/onboarding of teammates as needed.
