Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED; MA certification or related certs preferred; 0–1 year of experience; strong communication and basic computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Health Science preferred.
• MA certificate, CNA, EMT or Phlebotomy certificate preferred.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Demonstrated MA competencies within one year of hire.
• Basic familiarity with computers; basic web-based applications.

Responsabilités

• Develops empathetic relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to support care.
• Facilitates patient flow; informs about delays and updates medication and allergies.
• Provides clear hand-offs to providers and documents visit in the EHR.
• Performs medical assisting duties: vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, immunizations.
• Leads population health outreach and health coaching activities.
• Maintains equipment and supplies, ensuring PHI security and proper sterilization.
• Queues prescriptions in the EHR and schedules tests and referrals.
• Identifies OSHA issues and ensures patient safety throughout care.
