Qualifications

• Demonstrated MA competencies within one year of hire.
• Basic computer skills; able to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop empathetic relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Facilitate patient flow during visits and communicate delays promptly.
• Provide clear hand-offs to providers and document patient notes.
• Perform MA duties under supervision: vitals, phlebotomy, immunizations, basic procedures.
• Lead population health outreach and health coaching to meet quality goals.
• Manage medical equipment and supplies, maintaining sterility and stock.
• Use EHR to queue prescriptions and document visit activities for billing.
• Schedule diagnostic and lab tests and verify insurance and referrals.
• Identify OSHA risks and ensure patient safety and PHI protection.
