Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support PCPs in a primary care setting. The MA will greet and room patients, assist with routine diagnostics, and ensure efficient care delivery. The float role may cover outside the primary center as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited MA program, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of MA experience. Knowledge of EMR systems (EClinical Works or similar) is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take intake, record vitals, interview patients, document medical history and perform routine screenings.
• Listen actively, assess patient needs, and report changes to the PCP or specialists as needed.
• Handle patient communications, route calls, and relay information to physicians.
• Perform dressing changes, wound care, and basic first aid under physician supervision.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and complete accurate, compliant documentation.
• Provide health coaching and follow up with patients via weekly calls.
