Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the PCPs, greet and room members, and assist with routine diagnostic testing. The MA-Float may cover at other centers as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, graduation from Medical Assistant program, at least 1 year of MA experience, and BLS certification. Proficiency with EMR (EClinical Works) and MS Office is preferred. Strong communication and empathy are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training required.
• Minimum 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• 6+ months' phlebotomy experience is highly desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinical Works EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take patient intake, measuring vital signs, medical history and screenings.
• Engage with patients and report changes to PCP or specialists.
• Manage patient communications and route calls; contact patients as needed.
• Perform basic first aid procedures including dressings and sutures under supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and accurate documentation.
• Provide health coaching with weekly follow-ups.
